You end up with a nice looking, shiny brass sprinkler; however, I found that the glass bead removed small amounts of which pitted nipple and bearing. Full circle operation. Rain Bird used a standard #29B body then added special made low angle arm and nozzle for under tree operation. These pits held dirt, debris, and water deposits which did not allow the sprinkler to self flush, as it was designed do.

This model also has a 3/4 inlet the reason for this is 29B-la could screw right into aluminum pipe without use of riser which you didn't want any way under tree applications. These other reconditions are using high impact glass bead to clean the brass like sand blasting ; I can tell because back in 80s did same thing don't care what they say yellow sprinklers blasting. Glass beading not only does clean the most important part of sprinkler, inside, it makes sprinkler bearing less rebuild able next time due to damage. I included a picture of brass nipples cleaned using my unique cleaning process that took years to perfect - glass smooth with no missing.

We completely disassembled these Rain Birds, replaced worn or broken brass parts, cleaned them in our unique cleaning process then installed new washers and gaskets.
